Homeland Security

America is facing a grave threat from radical Islamic jihadists who wish to kill us and anyone else that does not subscribe to their radical ideology. September 11, 2001 showed us what they are capable of and we are reminded daily of their intent to kill us in Iraq and Afghanistan. There is little doubt that the terrorists will attempt to strike in America again. We must begin to prepare our citizens for the inevitable. For that reason, the Foundation for NC Future, which Robert Pittenger serves as President, produced an Emergency Preparedness Manual for families and individuals. The manual provides some common sense recommendations to prepare for a terrorist attack, natural disaster, or pandemic outbreak. This manual was distributed to over 800,000 homes in Mecklenburg, Gaston, Union, Cabarrus, Iredell, Forsyth, Brunswick and York County, SC., and costing over $180,000. The manual is available for free at www.ncfuture.org.
